I find myself fascinated by the blurring of the line between dream and reality. I want to recreate the feelings from a moment in time and bring life to them again through my surrealistic subject matter. I am driven by love and fear, the two most powerful human emotions. These serve as a symbol of my struggles of where the battle of the heart and brain begins and so is the spark of the duality in my works. I have been interested in this dualism, incorporating the relationship between logic and creativity as I/Eye see it. My eye is a shutter that captures images of what becomes a photographic memory. My mind is a lens, as sharp as my ideas coming to life. My soul is the canvas, each color representing the emotions that I feel. I have a heart of an artist and my heart is in every work that I do.
